As both a first-of-its-kind trendcasting tool and the cornerstone of Pinterest’s marketing efforts, Pinterest Predicts is an immersive website that sets the tone for the year ahead. Powered by machine learning algorithms, it analyzes billions of pins, boards, and searches to identify emerging patterns and forecast trends.

the app is 99.99% imagery. and not all 99.99% is good imagery. We felt that it was important to represent the possibility of what a great ad could look like for advertisers through excellent, compelling imagery in all of our sites and mock ads.
throughout each page, we aimed to build color stories, craft balance through the positioning of crops/subjects, hero a range of demographics, touch on numerous verticals and keep an overall playful, inspiring palette.
