From houseboats to home-cooked meals, Airbnb redefines how people connect to the world.

With the task of creating three new landing pages for Airbnb.com, I joined the creative team to curate a dynamic suite of photo and video assets, including two new films and nine photoshoots.

Under the direction of our CD’s, I collaborated with the Photo team to ensure a cohesive visual narrative that supported 6-12 articles per page. Our work involved sourcing imagery from existing libraries and developing shot lists for upcoming shoots. The challenge was compositing imagery from diverse sources—across nine locations, multiple photographers, and varying lighting setups—while balancing factors like article relevance, demographic blending, and retouching needs to create a polished and consistent look.

the task

Our task was to composite imagery for use across all three landing pages, balancing multiple challenges. We combined visuals from both pre-existing content libraries and recent shoots—spanning nine locations with various photographers, lighting conditions, and settings—while carefully considering content, style, and execution.
